Mission:

To responsibly foster critical thinking and an understanding and appreciation of the humanities as they relate to Guam's multi-ethnic composition, rich cultural heritage, and local, regional and global issues confronting our people today.

Vision:

That people will achieve an enhanced level of awareness of themselves, their interactions and how they impact our society as a whole; and Guam Humanities Council be a unifying force for other organizations, groups and individuals to promote the humanities on Guam and in the region.

Goals:

1. Positively impact the lives and knowledge of individuals that span the breadth of our population.
2. Foster awareness, understanding and a greater appreciation for the depth of our island's diversity;
3. Promote global collaboration;
4. Ensure compliance of the Council's grant, financial viability and accountability, transparency and clarity of communication with all stakeholders.
