A localized version of the National Endowment
for the Humanities millennium project, "My
History is America's History", this program
urges not only families - but communities, public
and private organizations and groups to preserve
stories oftheir past, and discover links to Guam's
History, and their role in it. Through these stories
Guam residents can connect with their community,
find common ground and help build a shared identity
for the island. My History is Guam's History is
the Council's main theme for the 2001-2003 grant
period.
