Public Forum Series
My History is Guam's History

Public Forums are rooted in traditional Chamorro Culture. Public debates and oratory events were recorded by some of the earliest visitors to Guam. The Guam Humanities Council is continuing this tradition with a series of interactive public forums on ethics and topics of current public discussion. The Council sees the need for dispassionate discourse and strives to provide opportunities to address issues of current concern from an ethical, educated and philosophical point of view. The Council hopes that this will encourage critical, non-emotional thinking of issues.

The ultimate goal of the Public Forum Series is to promote a well-informed, educated citizenry.
