The Guam Humanities Council is committed to providing
access to information and opportunities to participate
in community humanities programming. This year
the Council will be expanding its Resource Center
by inaugurating its Satellite Resource Center
program. By creating partnerships with other humanities
organizations and community groups, the Council
will establish Satellite Resource Centers in Northern,
Southern and Central Guam. These centers will
house GHC resources such as traveling exhibits,
videos, publications and audio tapes. In addition,
the Centers will provide internet access to on-line
humanities resources and ongoing training in oral
history, genealogy research and family literacy.
The Centers will also be the site of GHC program
activities.
